One record, kept by you.
A vault on your Mac holds every original file exactly as it arrived, plus everything Godwit works out from it. That vault is the only copy. Godwit keeps none on its servers or in a cloud. A copy leaves your Mac only when you ask, to sync your devices or share with someone you choose.
Promise 2
Any source in.
Exported files first, then the health stores on your phone, then platform connections where the platform allows it.
Promise 3
No one can lock you out.
No account needed, an open documented format, a full export in one click, and the app keeps working if Godwit ever shuts down.
Promise 4
You hold the keys.
Your AI app, a coach or another app sees only what you grant, for as long as you allow, and you can cut off access at once.
Promise 5
What's learned from you is yours.
Personal models fitted to your training are files you own. Godwit claims no licence to them.
Godwit will never
- Sell or pool your data
- Charge for your own history or the core science
- Build social feeds or leaderboards
Alongside your apps
Keep using the platforms you like. Godwit sits alongside them and keeps the permanent copy of your data, so a change of terms, price or company doesn’t take your history with it.
