Your AI, reading your vault.
Godwit has no AI of its own. When you ask your AI app about your training, Godwit hands it numbers it has already worked out, with the method named, so the answer starts from your data, not a guess.
How it connects
Godwit includes an MCP server that runs on your Mac. Claude Desktop connects in one click; Claude Code and other MCP clients connect with a short setting Godwit shows you. It talks to your AI app directly, with no open port and no Godwit server in between.
What it can read
Your days, activities, training load, fitness and form, baselines, plans and notes, plus a sandboxed read-only query of the vault. Every tool and prompt is in the free edition.
What it can write
Draft plans, sessions and notes, through narrow tools that check every value. Your AI can suggest a change to your plan; only you make it. It can’t change your imported data or edit your notes.
What leaves
What your AI app reads goes to its own provider, on that provider’s terms. Connect one only if you’re happy with that. What can leave, and when
Try asking
- How has my fitness changed since March?
- Am I recovered for Saturday’s long session?
- How did yesterday’s ride compare with my usual?
- Write me a morning brief.
- Draft a twelve-week plan for me to review.
